The deep south. If it were not so alluring, it wouldn't be the most moved to location in the U.S. For the last few years, the Carolinas have been THE destination to move to.

The challenge is that as folks move here, they try to keep their same values and ways that they had prior to moving here. That dog won't hunt, as we say down here.

You see, we have the best fried chicken. Why? Because of the ingredients and the process. In the same light, we approach life the same way; the right ingredients and process.

We were raised to respect our elders, open the door for ladies while NOT cursing around them, and everything revolves around Jesus.

As a Bible study website, we run EVERYTHING through the light of scripture and Jesus. Wouldn't it be great if everyone did?

Remember, we in the south are very hospitable. However, if you come and try and change the south to be the north with warmer weather, the hospitality goes out the window and the reason you moved would make no sense.

Be kind, be thoughtful, but most of all, run all of your thoughts through the light of scripture and Jesus the King of Kings.
